From Purses to Portfolios Certificate Program





The From Purses to Portfolios Certificate Program has been designed to meet women's unique financial needs and to equip them with the tools to better understand and take control of their finances.

Special classes are available through the The Money School; Community Events are scheduled at Del Tech campuses in each county. With topics from "Kiss Debt Goodbye" to "Open for Business: An Entrepreneur's Resource", there is something for everyone!

Start with 10 hours of financial education and earn a Level One Take Charge Delaware Woman (or Man!) Certificate.

Don't stop!
Level Two requires 20 or more hours of Money School classes and Next Level requires at least 30 hours.

Keep going!
Treasurer's Circle is for those who attend 100 or more hours of Money School classes.

The Ambassador of Financial Education is one of two premier levels of the From Purses to Portfolios Program. This level requires additional Money School classes as well as a minimum of 50 approved volunteer hours for a total of at least 250 hours.

Platinum Portfolio is top of the heap!
Complete at least 500 hours including a minimum of 50 hours pre-approved volunteer work in financial education. In addition, create and manage a monthly (or more frequent) Money Club or Money Support Group (can be done as an online group).

Special events and benefits are offered to Certificate holders - from free tickets to a
Suze Orman performance to admission to other local events.
